Its amazing to see a different kind of perspective of viewing life. Right from the first class of Psych 599 I have been seeing my daily activities and sundry chores in new light. I liked the website which really simplified the definition of happiness.
I chose to do the "9 things you can do every day- even when you cant do anything else" experiment and I am pleasantly surprised as to how content and happy I was in my own little way, at the end of last thursday. The only thing I could not do was 9th task. And yes I did go to bed when I felt sleepy( and yes it was very early ;) ). I felt that the only way to feel happy was to do something incredibly huge or worthy to be happy , but later realized that even if things go wrong some day, when I look back on what I did that day and if I had done most of the tasks in the list, I could go to bed telling myself that I at least did these things and may be ..may be I feel a tiny weenie bit more happier or I should say more relaxed.
