Happiness Project

I really liked this lady's blog about things you can do every day to boost positive emotion. She lists 9 really easy, do-able things to try to do everyday. These small tasks can help you to rest easy at night because if you didn't get some of the bigger tasks accomplished, you at least got some of the smaller ones from her list done and feel good about it. I have just started exercising on a regular basis a couple months ago and have realized how valuable it is to get out there every day and just go for a run. It alleviates stress and helps you to feel great afterword. I also make my bed every day. In fact, my room is almost always spotless. I know that if it starts to get messy, it will make me feel unorganized and stressed, and the one place I need to be able to go to and clear my head is my bedroom. I NEED it to be clean! Those are couple of items off her list that I think are really good suggestions. All of them are good actually. A lot of them have to do with taking care of yourself (walking, sleeping when you're tired, eating fruit, wearing your seatbelt...) and all of those are really solid ideas and will easily improve anyone's mood.
