I usually do set goals, and I usually make a list of things I need to do. I do not make lists all the time though, only when I feel overwhelmed and stressed out about things I need to do. Yes, I usually get more done when I have a list because it helps me to see what I did and what I still need to do, and sometimes it helps to put how much time each thing is going to take you to that you can't be behind(like when you have a set of steps to do for a project, it helps manage your time)
Honestly I do not think that "get out of bed" is a good goal to put on the list, because that is something we do every morning? Maybe it will be different if I put: "get out of bed earlier or at specific time" like something more specific. But I guess it will be helpful to include very basic goals so that you will have motivation to do more things of the list, and feel that you are accomplishing something little by little. I try to be flexible with lists though, like if there is something I could not do today, I will do it tomorrow, etc.
