Setting goals
I've always struggled with goal setting mainly because I used to have a tendency of setting very broad long term goals and end up feeling overwhelmed when I don't specify smaller steps to accomplishing them. For the last few weeks I've been making to-do lists after seeing one of my very successful classmates live by them. This has been tremendously helpful to the amount of things I accomplish on a daily basis. Making to-do lists has not only helped me accomplish the things I need to but it has genuinely helped relieve me of that nagging worry that I've forgotten something that is due the following morning, one of the worst feelings ever in my opinion. I think to-do lists are a great form of goal setting because it helps you map out smaller steps you can take towards accomplishing long term goals and it also gives you a sense of satisfaction for each one of the smaller steps versus waiting until you get a bigger goal accomplished which can leave you feeling empty and burned out and like it was never going to happen.

I agree for sure, I used to do the same thing with setting way too big of goals for myself without breaking them down into baby steps. Glad you're having better luck now : )
